Italian Flag Analysis

Italian Flag Analysis is a powerful “Thinking Tool” to analyze probabilities of binary propositions (Yes-No, True-False, Present-Absent etcetera).

The Analysis follows a structured approach to investigate the evidence, arguments and lack of evidence. It gives a deeper understanding of the evidence and an indication of the relative likelihood of the proposition.

Two versions of the application are available, 1) Italian Flag Analysis and 2) Italian Flag Collaborative. The first version is to assess the opinion of one “Knowledge Holder” while the second version is to asses and merge the opinions of multiple “Knowledge Holders” .

You can Install the Freeware here.

User Interface

The User Interface consists of three sub-Panels (Figure 1), which relate to different steps in the evaluation process:

1. Database Functionality: Used to communicate with the Database and do general data-related operations.

2. Evidence Evaluation: List all the evidence in three categories and assign weights to the Evidence.

3. Output: Graphical and Numerical output of the analysis.
