Steven Bloemendaal Biography
A native of the Netherlands, Steven Bloemendaal earned a doctorate of science degree in geology at the University of Amsterdam, before joining Royal Dutch Shell in the Netherlands in 1982 .

Assuring the accuracy and consistency of the assessment of the Exploration Portfolio.
Assisting Exploration Teams in improving their assessments through short term high intensity evaluations (Deep Dive Team).
Principal Technical Expert of Exploration Risk And Volumes, with among others responsibility of:
Developing methods and tools for exploration evaluation.
Training staff in the methods and tools of exploration evaluation.
After retiring from Shell in 2016, he founded GoExplore Consulting Ltd Co with the purpose of helping the Exploration Industry improve their assessment of Exploration Opportunities.
